Firebrand

Firebrand is the performance troupe of the Second City Country Dance Association. Formed in 2019, its membership includes many dancers who formerly performed with earlier country western dance troupes, the Windy City Cowboys and the Second City Outlaws.

This inclusive, not-for-profit, LGBTQ+ country/western dance troupe can be seen performing at local street fairs and parades throughout the Midwest. Firebrand is the visual expression of SCCDA’s mission:   to support and encourage the growth of country/western dancing in the Chicagoland area.
